A startup must answer “yes” to the following questions to be eligible to apply.

• Is the nominated startup based on ag-tech, water-tech, the built environment OR currently located on the Coastside?
• Is the nominated startup in development and not yet ready for full-scale product sales?
• Has the nominated startup raised less than $2M in debt or equity funding from non-governmental sources to-date?
